My Trip To Delhi
My family and I woke up at eight. We started getting ready to go to the airport. We decided to have breakfast at Sangeetha (restaurant). My dad ordered a plain dosa for me and my brother, a masala dosa for my mom and two pooris for himself. Once we finished eating, we returned home and continued our work.
When we were about to start, my dad booked a cab. The cab arrived in a few minutes and we hopped on to the cab. The cab drove us to the aiport. As soon as we set foot on the airport, we printed our boarding passes in the “self-check kiosk”. We placed our luggage in the “baggage make up” area. The Indigo (name of an airline) receptionist tied a baggage tag onto our luggage and gave a slight push to our luggage to make it go with the other luggages. My family and I stood there for a few minutes and headed to the security-check-in area. We split up according to gender once we reached that place and got ourselves checked-in. Once we finished getting our security-checked in, we headed towards the terminal two and took a seat.

Princess detective stories: Ghosts (Part 2)
“Don’t have an answer. I don’t really care, you see”, the security, Michelle responded and she disappeared amongst the cops before Catherine or Kelly could give their response.
“Wait”, Catherine screamed but she was gone.
Kelly asked sorrowfully, “What are we going to do, Cathy? It’s not like we can just go to the police station and get Priscilla. We need an adult to come with us to the police station”.
Catherine replied, “I don’t know”.
Kelly said, “I have an idea. We can ask the minister, Jake to come with us”.
“That’s a good idea”, Catherine cried. “but”, she paused.
“But what?”, asked Kelly.
“But he has to look after the kingdom since our father is sick”.
“I didn’t know that. I have another idea. Why can’t you and Jake go to the police station while I look after the kingdom?”, Kelly suggested.
“You’re young. You can’t look after the kingdom. Plus, Jake has to be okay with it”, Catherine protested.
“Yes, I can. I can look after the kingdom till you return to the palace. You’re right though, Jake has to be okay with it”, Kelly answered.
“Yeah, he should. Speaking of the palace, we must get back home”, Catherine said.
“Ok”, Kelly replied and they hurried back to the palace.
Catherine and Kelly yelled, “Minister Jake” once they reached home.
“What is it?”, Jake said as he ran out from the dining room. Catherine and Kelly narrated the whole story to the minister.
Jake cried, “Are you serious, your majesty? We already have enough problems over here dealing with the king’s sickness”.
“We know”, Kelly said. “Will you please come with us to the police station?”.
“Yeah sure, your highness”. Jake smiled. “Your majesty, Kelly, I hope you take proper care of the kingdom on my absence”.
“Yes minister, you have nothing to worry about. You better get going. See you later”. Jake and Catherine walked out of the palace and rushed to the police station. Jake and Catherine told the guy sitting in the reception about Priscilla and the crazy security, Michelle.
“I am sorry. Michelle is such a playful lady”, the guy sitting in the reception said.
“No issues. The point is Priscilla didn’t do anything wrong. She is being punished for no reason”, Jake told the officer.
“I agree. Terribly sorry for this inconvenience. Please release her”, the officer shouted at the cop standing outside the prison. The cop took out his keys and unlocked the bar. Priscilla walked out of the jail and ran to Catherine.
She hugged her tightly and told Jake and Catherine, “Thanks for releasing me minister and Catherine”.
“It was nothing”, Jake and Catherine replied together.
“Anyways, officer. Why is Michelle the security of Hill Stations Monument if she is very playful?”. Catherine asked.
The officer replied, “Well, we need her to be the security as she has the qualities of a security”.
“There are other people who possess the qualities of a security but okay officer. Bye”, Catherine responded and she left the police station along with Jake and Priscilla and went back to the palace.
Kelly was overjoyed to see Priscilla. “Oh, Priscilla! You’re back!”.
“Yes, I am”, Priscilla replied.
“Okay, we have a bigger problem now. How are we going to get the tiara?”, Catherine asked.
“I know what to do”, Kelly said. “We can disguise ourselves as detectives and tell the security to let us in the monument. We can say that we know a way to find the stolen tiara. We’ll blabber”.
“Alright Kelly”, Catherine and Priscilla answered together. Kelly, Priscilla and Catherine wore some ordinary black gowns, a pair of sun-glasses, a hat and a shrug. Priscilla grabbed her bag-pack and the girls went to the monument.
Kelly lied to the security, “We know a way to find the stolen tiara”.
“Get inside”, the security said happily. The sisters entered the monument and started looking around.
“We totally fooled the security”, Catherine whispered. Priscilla and Kelly nodded their heads.
“This place is extremely dusty and stinky. It looks like it’s been closed for so many years.
“Look!”, Catherine pointed her finger in one corner of the room. Kelly and Priscilla turned their heads saw an ugly glass barrel. Kelly blew a little bit of air from her mouth and dusted the dirty barrel.
“The star- studded tiara is inside the barrel! Yippee!”, Kelly exclaimed.
The girls were about to remove the lid when they heard a horrible voice, “I am the spirit of the tiara! Get out of here before I trap you”.
“Michelle, you are not fooling us, again”, Catherine cried.
The spirit replied, “Who the heck is Michelle?” You have ten seconds. Get out of here. The countdown starts now. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six ….”
Kelly panicked and screamed, “Aaaah! Run for you lives! The- they are ghosts in this place”. Priscilla, Catherine and Kelly ran out of the monument and started walking back to the palace.
Catherine cried, “What was that? Ghosts in a monument. This is crazy!”.
“I know right”, Priscilla replied.
“I am just glad that we got away from that spirit and none of us got into trouble”, Kelly replied.
“I agree”, Kelly replied. “Getting the tiara from the monument is harder than I thought”. Priscilla nodded her head. The girls returned to the palace and changed their clothes. Kelly, Catherine and Priscilla went to their respective chambers and took a nap.

Princess detective stories: The Lost Tiara (Part 1)
In the kingdom of Roseberry, there was a king who had three daughters. Their names were Catherine, Kelly and Priscilla. One day, the king became seriously ill. His three daughters called the best doctors from all over the kingdom. None of the doctors could find a cure to the king’s strange disease.
One day, when Catherine and Priscilla were speaking to the doctor about the king’s condition in his chamber, one of the king’s faithful ministers entered the room and panted, “Your highnesses, I am sorry for disturbing you. I have some important news to share and it can’t wait. Doctor, can you go out of the room for a few minutes, please?.
The doctor stammered, “I’m done he-ere. I’ll tr-ry to find a cure to the king’s disease. Go-good bye” and he walked out of the room and left the palace.
Catherine smiled. “Okay doctor. Thank you”.
Priscilla asked the minister, “Minster why did you interrupt us in such a manner while we were busy talking to the doctor?”
The minister, Jake answered, “I am sorry for interrupting, your highness”.
Priscilla replied, “It’s fine. What is that important information you wanted to share with us?”.
Jake replied, “Your highness. While I was taking a stroll around the kingdom, I met a scientist. That scientist seemed to know the remedy to the king’s disease”.
Catherine answered, “That’s wonderful! What is the cure?”.
Jake responded, “The cure to the king’s disease is a rare tiara. You need to find that tiara and show it to the king. He will get cured in an instant”.
“Did you tell the scientist that the king cannot open his eyes?”, asked Priscilla.
“Your highness, I did tell. The scientist told me to sprinkle a little water on the king’s eyes. The king will keep his eyes open for two minutes. You have to show the tiara within that time as the tiara won’t have an effect on the king the next time he opens his eyes “, Jake responded with full of anticipation.
Catherine asked, “Oh, okay so should we use some magical water and where is the tiara, Jake?”.
“Just regular water. Hill stations monument”, Jake cried.
Priscilla chuckled. “You have to be joking. There are no tiaras in -”.
“Hill stations”, Catherine finished. “Please listen properly. It’s hill stations monument”.
Priscilla said, “Oh, sorry. Carry on minister”.
Catherine replied, “It’s okay, Priscilla. Minister, can you describe the tiara?”
“Well, I think it is a star-studded tiara with a ruby on it”.
“Alright minister, we better take your leave. We have some work to do”, Catherine replied.
Jake cried, “Hold on. Here’s a map of this entire kingdom. It will be useful for you princesses as you’re not allowed to go out of the palace”, as he gave the map to Catherine. Catherine thanked Jake, again and left the royal chamber.
Catherine asked Priscilla, “Where is Kelly?”.
Priscilla replied, “She is probably in bed. Why?”.
Catherine said, “Oh, nothing. She told me that she’ll meet me outside the chamber but she’s not here. I wanted to show her the map and tell her about the tiara”.
Priscilla spoke angrily, “Please don’t show her the map or say a single word about the tiara to Kelly”.
“Whoa! Calm down! What’s wrong with Kelly?”.
“Kelly is such a bad girl. She is only gonna tell us to stay out of it. She doesn’t care about our father’s health”.
“Don’t talk ill of our sister. She obviously cares about dad’s health”.
“If she really cares about dad’s health, then why is she avoiding our father?”.
“She is not avoiding our father”, Catherine protested.
“Thank you for supporting me, Cathy”, a girl standing in front of a pillar yelled.
“Why are you saying these things about me behind my back, Priscilla?”. Priscilla and Catherine stopped talking and saw Kelly.
“I’m sorry”, Priscilla lied.
Kelly replied, “It’s okay. Let’s go to my chamber and look at the map”.
“Sure”, Catherine smiled.
Priscilla asked Kelly, “Did you clean your room? If it’s untidy, I am not going to your chamber”. Kelly nodded her head in a way of saying yes.
Catherine shouted, “Stop it Priscilla”.
“Let’s go”, Kelly said and they went to her chamber. Kelly closed the door of the room once she and her sisters got inside the room.
She told Catherine, “Cathy, please spread out the map on my bed”.
“Ok!”, Catherine replied and she spread out the map on Kelly’s bed. Catherine, Kelly and Priscilla stared at the map with earnest interest.
“Where is the, ‘Hill Stations Monument’ in this map?”, asked Kelly.
“Here it is”, Catherine cried as she pointed at a large building in the map with the term ‘Hill Stations Monument’ written just below the building in bold letters.
Kelly replied, “You’re observant, Catherine. Let’s visit the monument and search for the tiara”.
Catherine nodded her head and Priscilla grumbled, “I am not going with you”.
Catherine asked Priscilla, “Why do you have so many problems with Kelly?’.
Priscilla sobbed, “I’m sorry. I’ll not behave like this, anymore. I was acting like this because I found it was funny”.
Kelly said, “Oh, c’mon! Stop crying, Priscilla. Anyways, back to the monument topic. It’s best if we change our clothing and remove our royal jewelleries. No one should know that we are princesses”.
Catherine cried, “I just remembered. We are not allowed to go out of the palace without anyone’s permission”.
Kelly responded, “We’ll go out and come back real quick. No one will notice”.
Catherine and Priscilla looked at each other and agreed with Kelly . The girls removed their royal robes along with their jewelleries. They wore some ordinary frocks and dressed up as commoners. Priscilla grabbed a shoulder bag and kept a water bottle in it. Kelly, Catherine and Priscilla walked out of the palace and headed to the monument as Catherine read the directions given in the map.
Catherine said, “According to the map, the monument is supposed to be right here”. Kelly then tapped Catherine on her shoulders using her index finger and pointed at the monument.
Catherine mumbled, “Am I blind? The monument was right next to me”.
Kelly laughed, “No, you’re not blind. Why is the monument barricaded?”.
Catherine replied, “I don’t know. Let us ask the security guard standing outside the gate of the monument”. Her sisters nodded their heads and walked towards the security. The security guard was wearing khaki uniform and had a badge pinned on her outfit which read, ‘Michelle Patterson’. She wore a cap with the term ‘Police’ written on it. The security officer looked at the kids and raised an eyebrow.
Priscilla asked, “Hello officer! Why is the monument barricaded?”.
The security replied, “Little girl, there has been a theft in this particular monument. A precious tiara has been stolen from this monument. The cops are investigating”.
Kelly whispered in Catherine’s ears, “Are you thinking what I am thinking?”.
Catherine replied, “I think I am”.
‘Is the tiara that is stolen the tiara we’re looking for?”.
“Maybe”, Catherine replied and asked the officer, “Can you describe the tiara that is stolen?”.
“Okay, it’s a diamond-studded tiara with a blue sapphire on it”.
“That’s not the tiara we’re looking”, Catherine said in a satisfied tone.
Priscilla told the security, “Lady, we are princesses. You have to let us in”.
The security mocked at the girls. “How dare you call me ‘lady’. Anyways, find another place to play weird princesses. This is a dangerous crime area”. Priscilla, Kelly and Catherine left the place with a long face.
Kelly cried, “The security officer was mean. Father’s not going to last long. What can we do?”
Catherine replied, “Yes, she was. Don’t say that! We’ll figure something out”.
Priscilla said, “I have an idea. Why can’t we sneak in to the monument at night?’.
Catherine asked, “Sneak in to the monument and do what, Priscilla? The tiara’s stolen”.
Priscilla continued, “We can look for footprints and be one step ahead of the investigators. To be honest, the investigators wouldn’t have started looking for footprints”.
“No, you won’t. I was listening to you guys from the time you arrived at the monument. I am going to make sure that you won’t sneak in or do anything of that sort”, the security standing outside the monument, replied. She grabbed Priscilla’s hand and told the cops to take her away.
The security said, “Good luck saving her!”.
“Priscilla!! Oh, security. She said it for fun. Why were you eavesdropping on us?”, Catherine cried.

Magic tales: Hannah becomes good – Part 3
Sasha regained her consciousness and stood up as she had fallen on the floor. She started looking around the room which was covered in ice. She spotted an ice statue in one corner of the room and walked up to it.
She thought, “Why does this ice statue look so weird?” and touched it.
The ice statue turned in to a human being and gasped, “Where am I? What am I doing here? Who turned me in to an ice statue?”. Sasha was taken aback when she heard all these things.
She replied, “You are in an ice palace. I don’t know what you’re doing here and who turned you in to an ice statue”. The human turned its head towards Sasha and answered, “Okay, I am Ashley. Nice to meet you” and asked, “Were you the one who freed me from this horrible spell?”.
Sasha responded, “Nice to meet you, too” and asked, “What spell?”.
Ashley answered, “The ice statue spell, a filthy goblin turned me in to an ice statue as I refused to work for him. She told me that she will give me a lot of money If I do what she wants. For some reason, she thinks she can win a person’s trust by bribing them”.
Sasha sighed and replied, “Yes, I freed you from that spell. I think, Hannah, the evil lady who sent me to this ice palace transformed herself in to a goblin and troubled you. Not the point, though. Do you know a way to get out of this palace?”.
Ashley snapped, “I don’t know, really. Hold on. I can see a small door from where I am standing. Perhaps, that’s the way to get out”. Sasha agreed with Ashley and walked up to the door with Ashley and opened it. She saw a treasure chest, a bed and a cupboard.
She told Ashley, “That’s it? A treasure chest, a bed and a cupboard? How is this going to help us get out?”
“Open the cupboard”, Ashley whispered in Sasha’s ears. Sasha nodded and opened the cupboard. A bunch of clothes fell to the floor.
Sasha said, “Oops! I didn’t see that coming. Now what, Ashley?”.
Ashley lied, “Clean up the mess”.
Sasha shouted, “What? Really?”.
Ashley laughed and said, “Just kidding. Leave the mess. Now, touch the back side of the cupboard, you will feel a handle, push the handle towards the right. You will find a secret passage that no one knows. The passage will lead us to the main gate”.
Sasha listened to her and followed her exact instructions. She found a path way that led to the main gate when she pushed it open using the handle. Sasha was astonished.
She said, “This is amazing! How do you know about all these things?”.
Ashley replied, “I don’t know. Must be an intuition. Now, c’mon, let’s get out of here. I don’t know how I stayed here for so many days”. Ashley and Sasha ran through the path way and began walking to the main gate.
Sasha frowned, “Why were there so many spider webs in the path way? Doesn’t anyone clean that place?”.
Ashley replied, “Like I said, no one knows about that secret passage”.
Sasha asked, “Including Hannah?”.
Ashley responded, “Not at all” and was about to open the gate when someone from behind locked it. Ashley turned back and saw Hannah pointing her magic wand at the gate.
Hannah said, “You think it’s easy to get out of this place? I don’t think so and told Ashley, “Ashley, I am going to turn you back to an ice statue” and she turned Ashley back to an ice statue.
Sasha cried, “Aaaah! What’s your problem, Hannah? Why are you hurting people like this?”.
Hannah answered, “I don’t have an answer to your question”.
Sasha whimpered, “Isn’t there a way to stop you?” as she took a step back and touched the ice statue on its shoulders.
“Nah!”, Hannah replied and left the place. Sasha wiped a tear from her cheek and mumbled, “Is there a way to defeat or teach Hannah? She’s so cruel”.
“There is one way”, Daisy, Sasha’s best friend answered. Sasha looked at her and was startled.
She stammered, “D-Daisy, how-w diddd you get here?”.
Daisy replied, “A kind wizard helped me. I couldn’t find you and decided to consult a wizard. He told me where you were and used his magic send me here. He also spoke about someone called Hannah and how troublesome she was. I didn’t understand when he spoke about, Hannah that time but now I do. I watched the entire scene from a hidden position”.
Sasha answered, “O-okay. Where are your parents and Sid?”
Daisy responded, “I told my parents and Sid about your situation and they were okay to send me here which was shocking”.
Sasha replied, “Right so how are you going to help me defeat that evil cow?
Daisy said, “Oh, I forgot to tell you this. When I came here, I had some time to go through the books in the library and guess what, I found Hannah’s personal diary. Maybe, if we tell her about her childhood memories, she will let us go”.
Sasha cried, “It better work. Do you have that diary for proof just in case Hannah doesn’t believe us?”.
“Yup”. Daisy answered. Sasha and Daisy entered the palace and saw Hannah sitting on her throne.
Hannah asked, “How did you get here, Daisy?”.
Daisy lied, “I don’t know. I found myself in your library when I woke up in the morning”. Hannah grumbled a little on hearing that.
Daisy said, “I found your personal diary in your library and I read it. You were a really good person when you were young. What happened now?”.
Hannah replied, “That’s rubbish! that diary contains nothing but nonsense”.
Daisy laughed and answered, “Look, I am not gonna fall for these tricks anymore. Have a look at the diary yourself if you don’t believe me” and she handed over the diary to Hannah.
Hannah opened the diary and burst into tears on seeing her sister’s image. She narrated, “My sister used to love snow. She has been wanting to stay in a snowy region all her life. She doesn’t exist anymore so I wanted to fulfil her last wish so I decided to stay in a snowy region”.
Daisy asked, “I am okay with you staying in a snowy region but why are you hurting people?”.
Hannah cried, “I couldn’t bear my sister’s demise so I started hurting everyone thinking that they are responsible for my sister’s demise. I’ve understood now. I’d like to thank you both for letting me know of my past”.
Sasha replied, “Okay, Now, how did you get magical powers?”.
Hannah answered, “Oh, that.. You see, I discovered a weird object and I got magical powers out of that thing”.
Daisy said, “Fine. Turn Ashley in to a human and send us home”.
Hannah replied, “Alright!”, and she turned Ashley into a human and sent them home.

Magic tales: Black Magic – Part 2.
The criminal replied, “I didn’t escape from anyone or anywhere”, in the voice of a robot.
Sasha asked, “How is it that you have the voice of a robot?”.
The criminal replied, “Good question. I am a robot. My name is Mark. Hannah, my sister is controlling me. She is angry with you guys for arresting the original Mark so she invented a robot”.
Sasha’s mother asked, “Wait, so they’re two Marks? You are the fake one, aren’t you?”.
The robot answered, “Yes!” and corrected it by saying, “Sorry, no”.
Sasha’s mother asked, “Ok, I got it. Can we meet Hannah?”.
The robot said, “She’s behind you”.
Sasha’s mother turned back and saw Hannah, wearing a long blue gown and grinning at them with her eyebrows arched up.
Sasha’s mom said, “Hannah, I don’t know anything about you but please stop this nonsense. I am tired of it. We did what we thought was right for the society”.
Hannah laughed and said, “Really? Are you sure? Have you guys heard of the word, ‘Black magic’. This is definitely the best time to use it”.
Sasha’s father answered, “Black Magic is illegal. If you’re planning to use it on us, then don’t”.
Hannah ignored them and chanted, “Abracadabra, take these useless people to the icy mountain” and she created a whirlpool. Sasha’s family whirled in the whirlpool and disappeared from that place. They found themselves in a cold and snowy region.
Sasha’s parents and Sasha fell from the sky and landed unconscious on the snow. They woke up after a few minutes and started looking around, confused.
Sasha mumbled, “We should have called Daisy. First of all, are we in the alps?”.
Sasha’s dad responded, “Yeah, I think we are in the alps. I wish we knew Hannah’s intentions. Is everyone okay?”. Sasha’s mom and Sasha stood up and nodded their head.
Sasha’s mom said, “I still don’t get it. Why is Hannah using black magic? Doesn’t she know it is against the law?”.
Sasha’s dad answered, “Maybe, she knows it against the law. I guess she likes to be cruel?”.
Sasha’s mom cried, “Probably. Ok, let’s stop talking about this. Right now, we need to find a place to stay and some winter clothes. It’s damn cold over here”.
Sasha answered, “I agree and I see an old shack from here. We can stay there for now” and asked,” What are we gonna do about food?”. Sasha’s mom looked up at the sky and started wondering.
Sasha’s dad replied, “I don’t know but let’s just go there”. Sasha and her mom heard him and began walking towards the old shack. They reached that place and knocked on the wooden door. An old lady opened the door.
Sasha’s mom said, “Hello ma’am! We’re looking for a place to stay. Would you be kind enough to let us stay here for a few days?”.
The old lady answered, “Of course. How many of you are gonna stay here? I have trouble seeing”.
Sasha’s father replied, “Three of us ma’am”.
“Wonderful. Come in. You can sit near the bonfire. I will bring you some food” and asked, “Do you want a glass of water?”.
Sasha’s mom responded, “Sure. Thanks for asking” and the old lady took out three copper glasses from an old rusty shelf which was attached to the wooden door and poured water from a black pot that was situated next to the bonfire and gave it to Sasha’s family. Sasha and her parents drank the water and quenched their thirst. They thanked the old woman. The old woman then told them that she’ll get food from her close friend, Lisa who had recently come here for vacation and left.
“Is she really gonna bring food from Lisa?”, Sasha whispered in her mom’s ears.
Sasha’s mom answered, “I don’t know sweetie. Maybe, she lied to us. Who knows?”.
Sasha asked, “Yeah. Can I go out and enjoy the fresh air till the old lady returns? I am getting so bored”.
Sasha’s dad answered, “There’s no fresh over here but sure you can go out and watch the polar bears but don’t wander off . It will be impossible for your mom and I to find you in the alps”.
Sasha laughed and then opened the door. She screamed, “Yikes! Mom, dad!! Hannah! That evil lady is here. How did she know we were staying here?”.
Hannah laughed and said, “Hi Sasha! I am the old woman. The water I gave you and your family is poisonous water. To be honest, I can see that the poison is working. Now, you and your family are invisible and cannot see each other. I am the only one who can see you all and I will show myself to whoever I want. I’ve shown myself to you. If you want to see your family, then let me touch your hand”.
Sasha stammered, “O-kay, but after you touch my hand, you have to make sure I see my family and send us back home. Deal?”. Hannah nodded her head in a way of saying yes and touched her hand and held it tightly.
Sasha groaned and shouted, “Let go of my hand, You promised”.
She smiled and snapped, “I take it back. You’re so naïve, Sasha. Now, you can come to my ice palace and I will make you my personal assistant”.
Sasha grumbled “I don’t want to go to your useless palace. You tricked me and I fell for it. Now, you really expect me to believe everything you say? How dare you!”.
Hannah laughed and created a magical portal, which is a trap that can lead you to a different place and told Sasha to walk in.
Sasha moaned, “Never and don’t think you’re smart. How can I walk in if you’re still holding my hand? I am not that stupid”.
Hannah replied, “Oh, aren’t you clever?. I will let go of your hand and I will also cast a spell on you to make you believe everything I say” and she let go of Sasha’s hand and cast a spell on her before Sasha gave her response and told her to walk in to the portal.
Sasha who was under the spell replied, “Your wish is my command. I will walk in. I have a question. Is the other side of the portal an ice palace?
Hannah answered, Yes! Now be a good girl and walk in”.
Sasha walked in and Hannah and murmured, “You will be stuck there, forever” and closed the portal.

Magic tales: Who is this man? Part 1
Two blonde-haired girls were sitting on a bench at the park and were talking about their future.
Daisy said, “Maybe all the dead bodies will come back to life”.
Sasha answered, “Hmm, you think?”. Suddenly, a man walked up to them. The girls instantly stopped talking and stared at the man.
Sasha asked, “Sir, what do you want?”. The man then removed a sheet of paper from his pocket and gave it to the girl. Sasha took it from him and started reading it aloud.
The paper read, “I am a beggar wandering around the streets in search of food and shelter. I cannot speak as a witch cursed me. Would you girls be kind enough to give me some money?”.
Sasha and Daisy told the man together that, “We don’t have any money” and left the place hurriedly. The man started following them. The man was so fast that he got to the girls and the held them tightly
He said, “I have been pretending all this while. I can talk. I wanted to test your kindness. You girls are completely insensitive”.
Sasha mocked, “Huh? We are insensitive? If anyone’s insensitive then it’s you” and they pulled themselves out and now they started running.
Daisy panted, “Let’s go to my home as your home is farther than mine”.
Sasha stammered, “Ohh o-kkkay, let’s go to your home” and they ran to Daisy’s house. Daisy knocked on the door.
Her younger brother Sid opened the door and said, “Oh hello, you guys are home quicker than usual”.
Daisy cried, “Sid please, leave way for us. A beggar is chasing us”.
Sid laughed, “A beggar? Where on earth will he get the strength to run so fast”.
Sasha moaned, “C’mon Sid! A crazy man if you think that way”.
Sid answered, “Okay come in.”. Daisy and Sasha thanked Sid and walked in and Sid closed the door.
Sid asked, “What happened?”. Sasha said, “Well” and heard the doorbell. Daisy was frightened.
She screamed, “Aaah! It must be that man again. Let’s just see from the peephole”. Sid agreed and walked towards the door and saw from the peephole.
He turned back and said, “I don’t know who he is but I can describe him”.
Sasha responded, “I don’t want your description. let me have a look from the peep hole”. Sid moved and left way for Sasha.
Sasha saw from peep hole and said, “Oh dear! It’s that man again. “What does he want?”.
Daisy dimmed, “I don’t know. Shall we tell our parents about it?”.
Sasha said, “My parents are at home. Can we give a call to my parents?”.
Daisy answered, “Of course but first let’s tell my mom about it and before you even think of asking a silly question like where my dad is, he is at work”.
Sasha said, “I know! I am not a baby to not know these things.
Daisy said, “Fine” and then yelled, “Mom, come here. I have something important to share with you”.
Lily, her mother, ran out of kitchen and asked, “What is it?”.
Daisy said, “A man has been following us. He said he was a person who couldn’t talk as he was cursed by a witch but he can talk. He lied to us”.
Lily responded, “How many times have I told you not to talk to strangers?”.
Daisy apologised, “Mom, I wasn’t thinking that time. I am sorry”.
Lily smiled, “No problem. Was he wearing a black over coat, sun glasses and a hat?”.
Daisy said, “Yes, he is”.
Lily asked, “Is it? Where is he?”.
Sasha said, “He is right outside”.
Lily grumbled, “You could have started with that Daisy. According to the news, he is a criminal who escaped from the prison and he loves young children. I’m glad you guys got out safely. Let’s catch him and take him to the police”.
Daisy said, “Okay”.
Her mom continued, “And I’ll also give a call to Sasha’s parents”. Sasha was happy.
She said, “Thanks aunty”.
Daisy asked, “we can use the back door to capture him”.
Lily said, “Sure” and they all took the back door and circled all the way to a hide-out behind the front entrance.
Lily said, “guys, be quiet. Sid, especially you”.
Daisy asked, “mom, can I get the rope from the garage? You can tie him up”.
Lily said, “Brilliant idea. Go and get it”.
Daisy ran to the garage and grabbed the rope and ran all the way back”. Lily took the rope from Daisy and tip-toed to the front entrance. The man felt someone was behind him and turned his head and then suddenly her mom tied the rope around him. She then took out her cell phone and called the cops. The police arrived in a minute, took the man and the lady who captured him and rode them to the police station. The police threw the man in to the jail and sneered at him.
The man screamed, “No! let me out”.
One of the cops said, “No my dear. Enjoy the prison” and walked towards the lady and children and said, “Thanks for getting him. You guys solved a big issue we were going through”. The lady and the children smiled and left the place. Lily (Daisy’s mother) also called Sasha’s parents. Her parents came to the police station and took Sasha along. They thanked Lily for taking care of Sasha and got in their car and rode to their home. Sasha reached her home and got out of the car when she suddenly noticed the criminal in her car shed smiling at her.
Sasha was shocked and screamed, “Mom, dad!!! The criminal. How did he escape from the quod?”. Sasha’s parents packed their things, got up and saw the criminal. They were shocked!

Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) are products that sell quickly, at a low cost. FMCG are also known to as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). They include beverages, medicines, toiletries, stationaries etc.
My dad introduced me to FMCG. He asked me to list some of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods I use at home in an Excel sheet and write down the company that manufactures each product, its MRP, net weight and net volume.
The manufacturer’s name is usually printed on the backside of the item, most of the time. The MRP is the Maximum Retail Price of a particular item. It’s fraudulent to charge more than the MRP. It is better to avoid these shops. Net weight or net volume is the product’s actual weight or volume excluding its packaging wherein a gross weight is the total weight including its packaging.
Young Sheldon (Web series) – Part I
There was a boy named Sheldon Cooper. He was really intelligent. Sheldon had a twin sister named Missy Cooper and an elder brother named Georgie. Missy and Georgie were jealous of Sheldon as he was really intelligent. George and Mary were Sheldon’s parents.
Sheldon was so intelligent that when he was ten years old, he studied in Medford high school in class nine along with his brother. Sheldon never believed in God. But he went with his mother to the Church because that made his mom happy.
Sheldon had no friends. His mother started to get anxious about him as he had no friends. Due to his mother’s anxiety, he decided to make some friends. Sheldon didn’t know how to make friends so he borrowed a book from the school library and started reading it. He was able to make one friend. His name was Tam. Tam was a Vietnamese. Sheldon told his mother that he had made a new friend. Sheldon’s mom was extremely happy that she invited Tam for dinner. They all chit chatted and had a wonderful time.
Young Sheldon is a prequel of The Big Bang Theory. I have never watched Big Bang Theory due to age restrictions.

Cast Away – Movie
There was a man. He was an employee of FedEx courier. His name was Chuck Noland, he lived in U.S.A. He always said to the other workers to be prepared for anything. Chuck was a kind of man who always interacted with people. He never liked if people were not around.
One day he said to the other workers, “We must deliver FedEx packages to Russia. We are flying tonight”. He was at the airport when suddenly his tooth started aching. That time he also got a call from his friend, Kelly. He attended the call. In that call he said ,“I have to go to the dentist after I deliver the packages to Russia”. His friend Kelly got shocked and said “I’ll come to the airport”. Chuck said, “Okay”. Kelly then took her friend Chuck’s car and drove all the way to the airport. Kelly’s friend Chuck saw her entering the airport and ran to her. Kelly then stopped the car and waited for her friend to come and stand next to the car. Chuck understood and stood next to the car. Kelly then let him inside the car. She gave him a locket which had a clock and a photo of her and said, “This locket was given to me by my great grandfather. Now I am passing it on to you. Keep it safe”. Chuck promised to keep it safe. He said ,“I think I have to go”. He bid good bye to Kelly and left. In half way he turned back to see Kelly and ran to her again. This time he gave Kelly a present and said, “Open it after you reach your home”.
He boarded the flight. He was sitting on his seat with the locket wide open and was seeing the photo. He slept off after sometime. As soon as he woke up, he rushed to the washroom. He washed his face. As he was washing there was a crash in the plane due to a thunder storm. He came out of the washroom. One of the pilots gave him a life jacket and told him to be in his seat. He suddenly saw the locket Kelly gave on the floor. He went to take it. As soon as he took the locket and turned back. He saw there was a lot of water on the floor. Everybody except Chuck had jumped out of the plane. Chuck then took his life boat and jumped out of the plane. He had forgotten his life jacket. He then fell down on the Pacific Ocean. He didn’t know what to do that he climbed on his life boat and slept off.

The next day when he woke up, he found himself in an unknown Island. He started screaming, “Hello, Hello”. But there was no answer. He then understood that he was the first person to come to such a no-man Island. He had to hunt for food, find water and so on. Every day he woke up and searched for a human being but there was no one. One day as he was strolling around the Island in search of food and water. He found one of the FedEx packages floating in the water. He ran to get it. Like that every day he found new FedEx packages and took it.
One day he decided to open all the FedEx packages. As soon as he opened the first FedEx package, he found a video tape. He thought, “What is the use of a video tape in such an Island where there is no player?” and he kept that next to him.
He opened the second FedEx package. In that package there was girls’ gown. He thought, “As if any girl would come to such an Island” and he kept it next to him. When he opened the third package, he found a football with the name Wilson on it. He kept that also in the side.
Like that he opened all the FedEx packages except one package. He knew it would be of no use that he just left the package. He thought, “I think the girl’s gown and the football will be useful”. He used the net of the girl’s gown for catching fish. One day as he was catching fish something bit him on his arm. It was bleeding. Then he put the blood in the football and made a face out of it. He then thought of his friend Kelly. He said to himself, “Well, I’ll think the football as Kelly”. From that day onwards he kept the football next to him pretending that his friend Kelly was standing. That gave him a lot of courage.

In one of the packages he found an ice skating shoe. He used the blade of the shoe as a knife. Chuck also extracted his tooth, using the blade of the shoe.
After four years, one day he noticed a broken door along the shore. He decided to get out of the island by building a raft using the broken door. He built the raft and waited for the wind to blow in the direction that would help him sail. Finally, when the time arrived, he took a stick and started rowing. Many times, he was pushed away into the Island due to those waves. He didn’t give up. Finally, he got tired and said to himself , “I have to rest, I’ll try again tomorrow”. This time he somehow managed to cross the waves.

He was so overjoyed. When night came, he slept. One morning as he was busy enjoying the view. Suddenly the football he thought always thought as Kelly fell out. He turned back and noticed the football, which was his favourite friend in the island missing. He looked in the water and saw the football floating. He screamed, “Wilson” and was trying to reach the ball with his hand but failed as the football had gone way too far. He started crying. He suddenly felt he had lost all hope to live. He just stayed there doing nothing.
Suddenly he saw a ship with the name FedEx labelled on it. He tried screaming out, “Hey I am Chuck”. People noticed and rescued him. Finally, he reached his home. Everybody was able to recognize. He then freshened up.
He went to his friend Kelly’s home and found out that she had married someone else. He was so sad. When Chuck was in the island and nobody was there, he was literally lonely. Now when he was back to his home, his love of his life had married somebody else and he felt lonely again.
My dad introduced this movie to me on the day he extracted his wisdom tooth. He was unable to speak. So he asked me to watch this movie. 🙂
