My birthday celebration
It was a sunny day. My family woke up in the morning (rise and shine). My mother wished me happy birthday, so did my father. I thought my mother bought chocolates from the super market. Then I went near the refrigerator to check out everything, I found out that they were no chocolates. I went to ask my mother, ”Where are the chocolates mom?”. My mother said, ”I didn’t buy any chocolates, you never reminded my yesterday. ”I did remind you”, I said . My mother said, ”We shall buy after you have a bath and finish your breakfast”. I was wearing my birthday dress and my mother said, ”It’s getting late so let me go drop your younger sibling to his singing class” and she left.
When my mother returned I had already finished my breakfast and my grandmother was combing my hair. My mother bought eclairs and melody chocolate. There was a lot of time for the class, so I asked my mother, ”Mom may I go and distribute the eclairs chocolate to my friends now’?’. My mother said, ‘Ok”.
I distributed chocolates to my friends. It was time for me to distribute to my friends in the keyboard class. I quickly packed my bags along with my chocolate box and started my journey to my keyboard class. I finished distributing chocolates and left. I returned home and had my lunch and started to play with my little brother. The next day was Monday. I wore my birthday dress and went to school and distributed chocolates to my friends and teachers. I had dance class on that day but all my chocolates got over. I went to dance class and told my dance teacher about it. My dance teacher and the other children sang for me and we all took a group photo. This is how I celebrated my birthday.
The Phantom of the Orchestra – Geronimo Stilton
This story is about a girl who is interested in music.
Once there was a girl named Violet. She was very addicted to phones. She was always using her phone doing something none of them knew.
One day Violet and her friends were watching a movie. Violet as usual was using her phone. In half way through the movie Violet got bored of using her phone and she slept of. When the movie was over suddenly Violet’s friends heard a ticking sound in Violet’s phone. Violet’s friends went and peeped into her phone and saw who sent the message. They heard that Violet has been selected for a music contest on the topic Romeo and Juliet held at London. Violet’s friends were overjoyed.
When Violet woke up she saw someone had kept a paper on the table in which something was written. Violet read the paper and followed its instructions. Finally the instructions led her to a room. Violet opened the door, she was shocked to see everyone with a board on their hand. The board had the word ‘Congratulations’. Her friends told everything they saw on Violet’s phone. Violet felt very excited. She wanted to spend time with her friends as she was going to leave the country and was going to miss her close friend.
But Violet’s friends were really busy whenever she called them to play. The day before Violet was about to leave, her friends came to her and said, “We couldn’t spend time with you as we were working on our school project and other school things as we have decided that we would accompany to London”.
Violet was really happy that she jumped with joy. The next day Violet and her friends left for London together. They were so eager to watch the contest of Romeo and Juliet. They all reached their destination. The next day Violet gave measurements for her dress and so did the other performers of Romeo and Juliet. On the day of the contest the inspector, Mr.Paul talk about the rules of the contest to the audience.
The contest was about to begin when suddenly one of the performers went to the inspector and told, “My dress is not fitting me”.
“What!”, screamed the inspector, “this is a disaster”
So many people reported these kinds of problems on that day. Mr. Paul went to Violet’s friends and told, “I thought you guys were really responsible. Go out and find what is going on”
Violet’s friends felt sad as they got scoldings from Mr. Paul. They went to Mr. Albert the tailor’s place. Violet’s friends went to Mr. Albert’s place and found a lady sitting in the reception.
All of Violet’s friends asked, “We want to meet Mr. Albert”. The lady said, “He is inside this room”, pointing to a room located beside her’s.
Violet’s friends thanked the lady and went inside the room. They saw Mr Albert sitting and working in a computer.
Mr Albert said, “Hello”.
Violet’s friends responded back saying hello. The girls narrated the whole story and why it was happening. Mr Albert checked in his computer and said Mr.Paul had sent two messages. First message had the information about the costumes. The second message had different information about the costumes.
” I believed the second message thinking that it is the correct information about the costumes”.
The girls thanked Mr. Albert for his kind information and set of for their hotel. When the girls were about start climbing the staircase, they noticed Mr.John who was also a tailor. But the girls didn’t know it was John’s twin brother that they saw. They also noticed that Mr John’s twin brother was wearing a watch. The girls continued climbing up the stairs. When the girls reached the end of the staircase they noticed the same person they saw down stairs. This time the girls observed he wasn’t wearing a watch.
”Something fishy going out here”, said one of the girls.
The girls then discussed among themselves and decided that they could find out the truth only when they see both the persons in a spot together. The girls told Violet and her friend Sarat everything.
‘This is the best time to find out the truth” said one of the girls. Violet said, “I will go call John alone. You guys go call the person you said who looked like John”.
The girls brought both the twin brothers together to a spot as both of them can see each other. They explained their situation to both the twin brother. Both of them started fighting by finger pointing each other.
The girls told Mr. Paul everything. Mr. Paul was really angry that he chased both the twin brothers from the hotel. The next day was the contest everything went perfectly. Violet performed really well that Mr. Paul said she could perform in another contest as well.
The girls had to leave home the next day. The next day when they were about to get boarded into the aeroplane they all gave a warm hug to Violet and returned back home.
The most amazing magic show
In Toyland there was an old couple who had a daughter named Sanda. They always wanted their daughter to grow up and become a magician who does a lot of tricks and magic.
Sanda grew up to become the most beautiful girl with a really kind heart. But Sanda had a really big problem. She didn’t get any opportunity to become a magician. Sanda was really sad she didn’t want to break her parents heart.
So one day as Sanda was walking back home she saw one of the king’s ministers announcing the people of Toyland about a magic show. Sanda was really overjoyed. She ran to the minister and asked whether she would get an opportunity to perform in the magic show. But the minister didn’t know whether to tell yes that he told, “Madam you must go and ask the king”.
”Why!? should I ask the king? Do you not have any answer for my question?”, asked Sanda.
The minister said, ”I do have an answer for your question madam, but I am not allowed to tell”.
”Oh ok”, said Sanda.
The next day Sanda woke up at 6:30 am and went to meet the king. She asked the same question she asked the minister about the opportunity. The king, really delighted instantly said ”yes”.
The next day was the magic show. Sanda started preparing for the magic show. She told her parents about the show and they were also really delighted. The next day Sanda performed really well in the contest and was rewarded with a thousand gold coins and she became the most famous girl in Toyland.
Sarah, Plain and Tall – Patricia MacLachlan
Sarah, Plain and Tall, a book by Patricia MacLachlan, starts as a sad story and ends happily.
There was a lady who had two children Caleb and Anna. The lady loved singing and so did her husband.
After a few days…….
Something unexpected happened. During the night time all the children were tucked up in their little beds and so were their parents. The next day the man and the children woke up but the lady didn’t wake up. The man tried waking his wife many times but she didn’t respond nor get up. Soon the man realised that his wife had passed away.
The man decided to remarry again and found a woman in Maine. Her name was Sarah Elisabeth Wheaton.
The man wrote a letter to the woman in Maine saying when she would come. Sarah responded saying, “I will come during the spring time. I will come by train wearing a yellow bonnet. I am plain and tall“.
Then Caleb wrote a letter to Sarah asking, “Do you sing? “.
“Yes“, responded Sarah.
Caleb and Anna were wondering whether there stepmother would be kind to them. During spring time Sarah arrived and the house was decorated just the way she wanted the house to look like. Sarah also brought her little dog Seal along with her. Sarah loved seeing the sheep, seeing them made her smile. But as Sarah was from Maine she didn’t know how to speak English. If she had to say yes she would say “aei“.
The children’s father taught Sarah how to plough the field, take care of the sheep and so on. As the children had expected, their stepmother Sarah was really kind to them. She took care of them and they all again became united and lived happily.
The Shepherd who passed away
In a village there lived a poor woodcutter. He always cut wood, sold them and got a little bit of money to survive. One day when he was walking on his way back home, he found a boy begging for money. So the woodcutter felt sorry for the boy and adopted him, but the worst thing was that the woodcutter didn’t have enough money to feed the boy.
One day he saw Sridevi, his friend who was also a poor woman. The woodcutter ran towards Sridevi calling out ‘Sridevi’.
‘What do you want?’, asked Sridevi.
The poor woodcutter cried, ‘I have adopted a boy but I don’t have enough money to feed him’.
‘Dear woodcutter please do not cry. I will take the boy along with me and provide him with food and water’.
‘Are you sure?’, asked the woodcutter.
‘Yes’ told the lady.
The next day the woodcutter brought the boy along with him and gave it off to the lady. But the lady instead of treating the boy well made him a shepherd who had to take care of sheep. The lady never provided the boy with food nor water. The boy who starving with hunger passed away. The next day the lady went to the woodcutter narrated the whole story.
‘What?!!’ screamed the woodcutter and lead a sad life.
My keyboard annual day
I got ready for my annual day and rushed to the stadium. I found my friends Petrina and Shambavi there. I was feeling so bored that I asked my friends what we can do. Then my friend Shambavi told she would tell me a ghost story. Petrina and I accepted.
So she began the story and in half way of the story, Shambavi felt hungry. She went out of the hall she found few people selling samosas. She then rushed towards the shop and asked for one packet of samosa, but they didn’t know English as they only knew Hindi. As they didn’t know English she spoke Hindi with those people who were selling samosas. They finally understood and gave her a samosa. So soon Petrina, Shambavi and I were feeling quite bored that we three went to a teacher named Meenakshi. I asked Meenakshi mam when our keyboard program will begin. Mam told that keyboard program was the last program. So my friends and I kept bothering her every minute, asking the same question. Mam decided she would schedule the dance program in the end and the keyboard right before the dance program.
First performance was mine. I was dead happy that I rushed to the stage. But the worst part was I didn’t know how to configure the keyboard. I was feeling quite disappointed and called Prashanth sir to the stage to clarify my doubt. But what I didn’t expect was Prashanth sir himself didn’t know the answer for my doubt. Finally I played whatever came to my mind. None of them clapped their hands because I didn’t know the settings for the song I was going to play. This was my worst event.
Trip to Athivaradar temple
On Friday 2.8.2019 on nine o clock my mother and I started our journey to Varadaraja perumal temple. On our way my we saw several temples. Vardaraja perumal temple is located in Kanchipuram. But in half way we came to know cars were not allowed. So we parked our car in Arasunagar and waited for the small bus to arrive.
When the bus arrived, we got in the bus thinking that it was the right bus. Mid way, my mother got confused and asked a lady ‘is this the correct bus that will take us to Varadaraja perumal temple?’’ The lady replied “Yes.’’ Then we reached our destination and found out that we have to walk till the entrance of the temple. Soon we reached the entrance and we found out that inside the temple also we have to walk so much. Finally we were inside the temple and it was crowded.
We had to wait in the crowd for at least two hours without eating anything. I got quite hungry, and asked if she had anything that would help me survive. Then my mother told she had Chapatti with Dal. Then I asked my mother, ‘Mummy could please give me Chapatti with Dal right now?” When I was eating, suddenly my mother told me to close the box because the pooja was about to begin.
Slowly the crowd started to move and we saw Lord Vishnu who was in a standing posture. It was awesome. After seeing the lord we came out of the temple and started walking towards the bus, got inside the bus reached Arasunagar, got inside our car and drove back to our little cottage.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – Roald Dahl
Charlie and the chocolate factory begins with a sad story. Charlie is a young and poor boy, who lives with his grandparents and parents. He never used to get the amount of food he has to get. Charlie’s parents earned just enough money to feed Charlie. They ate the food that was left over after Charlie finished eating. Charlie used to go to school and on his way Charlie would see Willy Wonka’s factory.
Willy Wonka Factory is a factory where people come to work like an office. Willy Wonka factory makes chocolates. Willy Wonka factory chocolates are the tastiest chocolates better than other factory chocolates. In Willy Wonka factory they make chocolates that wouldn’t melt in sunlight.
But suddenly something unexpected happened.
Workers from other factories started stealing the secret recipes from Willy Wonka‘s factory. So Willy Wonka closed the factory. This was a shock for everyone. They used to come near the brass gate and would peep through the window that was inside the gate to see if there’s anybody inside the factory or not. But only one thing that was visible through the window was small shadows moving in all directions. People who were near the brass gate waiting for it to open did not know that the moving shadows were Willy Wonka’s.
After a few days …….
Willy Wonka sent a message saying that five children will be allowed inside the factory, and the lucky five children will be allowed to see all the secrets of the factory. Mr Willy Wonka also asked to bring the children’s parents along with the children. He wrote this message on a golden ticket and placed into a chocolate wrapper with a message above the wrapper saying ‘Willy Wonka’. The first golden ticket was found by a greedy little boy named Augustus Gloop. The second golden ticket was found by Violet Beurgarade and like that others including Charlie, got the golden ticket too.
Everybody along with their parents came to the factory and went to room named ‘Chocolate room’. In the chocolate room Augustas Gloop saw a puddle mixed with chocolate. Augustus Gloop saw the chocolate river and started licking the chocolate greedily. Willy Wonka saw Augustus Gloop eating the chocolate greedily. Willy Wonka told Augustus Gloop, “Oh! Dear Augustus Gloop, I don’t think that is meant for humans to eat”. While Augustus Gloop was listening to Willy Wonka he suddenly tripped over something and he fell into the chocolate river.
Everybody except Augustus Gloop and his parents went to another room named ‘The Chewing gum room’. Willy Wonka showed them all, how to make chewing gum. Violet Beaurgade who loved eating chewing gum didn’t know that the chewing gum was magical. Violet ignored Willy Wonka’s warning. After a few bites of the chewing gum, Violet’s face started to become purple and she started to become fat. Her parents were shouting at Violet to spit the chewing gum, but Violet replied, “No. I won’t spit. It is quite tasty”. So like Augustus and Violet every other child got into some trouble.
Only one person did not get into trouble and that was Charlie Bucket.
In the end Willy Wonka told Charlie that he has started getting old and he has decided to hand over the factory to Charlie.
After reading this book, I watched this movie in Prime Video 🙂
Trip to Hyderabad
We packed up all our things and started our journey to Hyderabad . We went to the airport, checked-in and waited for the plane to arrive. We went inside the aeroplane and the aeroplane dashed off. We reached our destination and collected our bags and then we booked a taxi, got in and went to The Manohar hotel. We met our great grandparents and went to Salarjung museum.

And finally we went to Charminar and bought beautiful bracelets ad bangles . Charminar was very crowded.

In the end we came back to our little house in Tamilnadu by train.
Trip to Kodaikanal
We started our journey to Kodaikanal at 6 am in the morning. We went on our Honda City car. On the way there was a restaurant named A2B . My mother and father had coffee and my brother and I had Maaza juice. Then we continued our journey to Kodaikanal. We reached the Ghat road at 2 PM. From ghat road to Naidupuram it took so long to reach our destination. Then the next day when I woke up, I had bath and started my journey to the lake in the lake. I had a lot of fun. I rode on a horse. Then rode a cycle and drove a quad bike.
